Government and community relations for the former Fry's Electronics. Positioning for long-term redevelopment adjacent to Hamilton light rail station and 3 blocks from downtown Campbell.

Mission Park

Provided day-to-day project management on an industrial property that converted to retail and hotel mixed-use. Unanimous approval in under a year, requiring substantial negotiations with County on Montague Expressway ROW take and PG&E high-tension wire easements.

Valley Transportation Authority (VTA)

Advisor and project management for TOD projects throughout Santa Clara County. Hire consultants, oversee design teams, manage RFQ/RFP process with complicated public outreach, and maintain forward momentum for Silicon Valley's premier transit-adjacent infill sites.

Provide government relations and entitlement management for a complicated re-use and re-development in a light industrial zone adjacent to a residential neighborhood.

Cisco Supportive Housing Innovation Fund

Advise Executive Staff and BOD on specific and actionable strategies for increasing supportive housing unit production, in conjunction with county-funded "Measure A" projects and other public and philanthropic sources.

Los Altos Community Investments

Managing Director for family office that was reorganizing and expanding into asset investment and development. Created a new entity and branding with website and major marketing roll-out for a $35M retail and commercial portfolio in a walkable downtown; assembled a 1.2-acre development site; and launched a non-profit to spearhead the city's first Public-Private-Partnership on public land.

Federal Realty Investment Trust – Park Valencia Retail, Santana Row

Project director for two new retail buildings and a public plaza rebuild. Managed design and delivery of tenant spaces, including lease commitments and TI budgets for Poke Bar and Smitten Ice Cream. Drafted all Investment Committee reports, and managed budget and proforma to hit all thresholds.

San Jose Unified School District

Advised executive staff and Trustees through feasibility analysis for 1000+ units of Teacher housing throughout district.

Anton Development

600+ rental units and ground-floor retail adjacent to new BART station. Fast-paced design and entitlement management for an aggressive project that wanted to beat the market and get out of the ground.

Brookfield Residential

Advising the Vice President for Business Strategies on infill projects throughout the Bay Area, with a particular focus on largeinfill/redevelopment/re-use projects in Mountain View, San Mateo, and San Jose. Positioning all of Brookfield’s development entities (rental, commercial, home building, and asset management) to take advantage of new housing-focused legislation in 2017-18.

Nexus Real Estate Investments

Helped a small ground-up SFD builder expand into multi-family infill projects in high-barrier-to-entry residential neighborhoods such as downtown Mountain View. My consultancy brought together architects, site planning, legal advice, permit expediting, and gov’t/community relations as a single service.
